EA is governed by Illinois law and its articles of incorporation, bylaws, and policies as a 501(c) not-for-profit corporation. Additionally, EA is bound by the policies of its governing bodies, USA Swimming and Illinois Swimming, Inc. EA considers its policies on an ongoing basi,s and revisions occur for many reasons. Parents interested in working on team policy and management should consider volunteering for the Board of Directors or in another position. Swimmers might consider work on or with the EA Swimmer Council.
